Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and methodical Manual Test Engineer to join our Quality Assurance (QA) team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of web, mobile, and desktop applications through manual testing processes. Key Responsibilities: Analyze requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback. Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases. Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing manually. Identify, record, and document thoroughly any bugs or issues using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla). Collaborate with developers and business analysts to resolve issues and ensure product quality. Conduct root cause analysis and provide insights to improve product quality and development practices. Validate fixes and enhancements against test cases. Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes. Required Skills: 1–5 years of experience in manual software testing. Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC. Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases. Hands-on experience with test management and bug tracking tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar. Familiarity with different types of testing: functional, smoke, regression, UAT, and exploratory testing. Basic knowledge of databases and ability to write simple SQL queries. Good communication and documentation skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Preferred Skills (Optional): Experience in testing APIs using tools like Postman.
